Job Description
A Support Manager oversees the customer support department, ensuring that clients receive high-quality service and timely solutions. They manage the support team, improve processes, and maintain customer satisfaction through efficient communication and leadership.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead the customer support team to achieve service goals.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate support staff performance.
- Ensure quick and effective resolution of customer issues and inquiries.
- Develop and implement customer service policies and standard procedures (SOPs).
- Track key performance indicators like response time and resolution rate.
- Collaborate with product and technical teams to resolve complex cases.
- Prepare reports on team performance and customer feedback.
- Continuously improve customer experience through feedback and analytics.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3–5+ years of experience in customer support, client services, or team management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Zendesk, Freshdesk, HubSpot).
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
