Job Description
A Video Editor is responsible for assembling recorded footage into a finished project that matches the director’s or client’s vision and is suitable for broadcasting or online publishing.
Responsibilities
- Edit raw footage and turn it into engaging, polished videos.
- Add music, graphics, sound effects, and transitions to enhance video quality.
- Collaborate with the creative team to understand project goals and style.
- Ensure brand consistency and high visual quality across all videos.
- Work with marketing, social media, and content teams to produce promotional content.
- Manage and organize video files and project archives.
- Stay updated with the latest video trends, styles, and editing tools.
Requirements
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or After Effects.
- Basic knowledge of color grading, motion graphics, and sound design.
- Creativity, attention to detail, and storytelling ability.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects.
- Strong sense of pacing, music synchronization, and visual rhythm.
- Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Media Studies, or a related field (optional but preferred).
