👉Our next topic is ‘Latent Semantic Indexing’. What is this? Before starting the training, you were given an example of ‘Apple’. The moment we searched for an ‘Apple’ on Google, it showed the results for the brand ‘Apple’. How does Google know about it what type of Apple are you searching for?
👉If a person who’s a farmer and he everyday searches for ‘Apple’ then Google wouldn’t show the results for the brand Apple, instead it will show about the apple that we eat, considering his previous preferences and searches. You have to keep in mind that Google is optimized according to what you often search, on the basis of your previous searches.
👉If you came along searching for food items and you enter the keyword, it will show you the results according to your history. Now coming towards ‘Latent Semantic Indexing’, suppose a mechanic is searching for cars, he’ll be shown results for all the latest cars. If a child searches for cars, he’ll be shown the results of Disney land cars in the movie he watched. Now the question arises why? It is because of your convenience, as Google tries to understand what you’re doing and indexing your searches and results according to your preference and choice.
👉In this way, AI is going to get involved in this, and what would happen in the coming days we can’t even imagine. The reason for making you understand this whole scenario is that you don’t have to rank your page with one keyword, but you have to use all the relevant terms for it. For example, if you want to build a website that is based on Disney movies it can include many relevant terms such as (film, movie, director, Walt Disney, release date, budget etc).
👉Now this is called relevancy. So whenever you optimize any website with the keyword then don’t only go after that only keyword. Your mission is to grab the customers directly on your website so that they can give you business. Now what do we do? Suppose we open ‘answerthepublic.com’ and search for leather jackets. This is for all the people who search for local jackets in the market. Further, this video will show you a practical example of it by showing data and queries.
👉These things will play an important part when you’ll show these combinations to the content writers. On only writing ‘Leather Jacket’ on the website it shows a huge data as you can see in the video.
👉So in this way if you start putting those terms, not exactly related to our niche can bring up that traffic that is already present on those keywords and terms. For example, we have another website called ‘Leather Baba’ we’re selling different types of leather accessories there, if you’ll search for leather socks, there’s a huge chance that a customer come to our website from that keyword and buys our main product. So in this way, we can target our audience. Just like top malls, all the brands are assembled in one place. So if a customer visits there to buy a dress, they’ll definitely buy something else they will see there.
